RERP aims to substantially increase productive private investment by individuals, households and RMSEs in the economic opportunities, need arises for improved accessibility and use of appropriate financial services. Therefore, to meet this objective of better linkages, RERP has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rastra Banijya Bank Ltd. (RBB)— A Class Fully Government Owned Commercial Bank of Nepal. RBB has agreed to provide the subsidized agriculture loans by prioritizing the process for project beneficiaries.
Similarly, MoU has been signed with Laxmi Bank Ltd.—A Class Commercial Bank— to facilitate subsidized agriculture loans and access to financial services in project areas. Also, MoU has been signed with Saptakoshi Development Bank Ltd.—B Class Development Bank having its wide presence in Province 1 for financial linkage facilitation as well as Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd.—a D class Microfinance Institution to deliver microfinance services to project beneficiaries.
