A planning meeting for the third round of Vocational Skills Training (VST III) was conducted on February 15, 2023 in Province-1 between the technical assistance team of SAMRIDDHI/Helvetas Nepal and the Project Management Office (PMO) under Sub-Component 1.3 Decent Jobs of RERP. Participants included officials from PMO along with representatives from the Koshi Sagarmatha and Janakpur Corridors. The meeting aimed to build a common shared understanding and action plan to mitigate possible project risks, considering the timeline for implementation in order to deliver vocational skills in 2023.
The open discussion was facilitated by SAMRIDDHI/Helvetas Nepal Team Leader Mr. Sandip Poudel. The discussion focused on identifying potential risks and determining the way forward for implementing the VST III plan, following the yearly plan sharing. The meeting resulted in a shared understanding of the potential risks and issues after rigorous discussion. Mr. Saroj Prasad Guragain, Project Manager of RERP/SAMRIDDHI, concluded the meeting by thanking the participants and providing clarification on the queries raised during the discussion.
