Multi-Stakeholder Platform(MSP) in Province One

Koshi-Sagarmatha Corridor Office of RER project organized Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP) for 2 days on selected supply chain commodities on Fish, Vegetables and Dairy in province one for project working districts related stakeholders. The MSP workshop was conducted separately for each supply chain commodities. The MSP intended to disseminate information about RER project for collaborative action with stakeholders for the supply chain to be promoted for enterprise creation and employment generation as per the project objective.

During the MSP-- lead producers, farmers, input suppliers, traders, enablers such as Government of Nepal concerned department and units personnel, related community members, chamber of commerce and industry representatives and external facilitator for MSP including RER project management team members participated in the interaction and discussion program. The MSP was facilitated by Supply Chain Lead from the RER Project. The two days program collected information on related supply chain commodities, identified gaps and issues, validated major information collected by RERP; project intervention areas/clusters were also confirmed together with the stakeholders, task force for MSP participation was formed.  The workshop was also able to make common understanding among the stakeholders to coordinate and collaborate in implementing RERP at the field level.
