Rural Enterprises and Remittances Project “Samriddhi” is providing technical support to the project partnered Municipalities in promoting Fish Supply Chain programs in the project's influence districts.
The coordination support for Fisheries Cluster Development Fund (FCDF) has been initiated in Sunbarshi Municipality-Morang and Koshi Rural Municipality-Sunsari of Province 1. Rupani Rural Municipality and Dakneshwari Municipality-Saptari, Sahidnagar Municipality-Dhanusha and Kolhabi Municipality- Bara of Province 2. The FCDF Operation proposal came into effect after the field survey conducted amongst 1750 Fish producer HHs.
Based on the facts received from the survey RER Project now is supporting Municipalities in implementing ─the Fish Cluster Development Fund Operation Procedure-2077. The FCDF information and data is validated through dialogue and discussion with relevant stakeholders organizing the Multi Stakeholders Platform (MSP) at the cluster levels.
