8th July, 2020 Rural Enterprises and Remittances Project (SAMRIDDHI), Itahari, Sunsari with Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FNCCI) Province 2 agreed on Memorandum of Understanding(MoU).
As per the strategic goal of the "Samriddhi" project to — "reduce poverty and achieve sustainable peace through employment-focused, equitable and inclusive economic development" the apprenticeship training program provided by the project implements skills and employment services for promoting the gainful employment of unemployed youths in Province 1 and 2.
HELVETAS Nepal, the partner organization of Samriddhi project, having expertise and experience of short term technical and vocational training management is taking major role of Technical Assistance for the training.
The member industries using the mode of apprenticeship training for 660 individuals of Province 2 are listed as in below sector and occupations areas. The MoU was signed between Mr. Shalik Ram Dahal, Project Manager for and on behalf of Rural Enterprises and Remittances Project(SAMRIDDHI) and Mr. Shiva Shankar Sah(Hira), Chairperson FNCCI Province 2.
